Hi! I'm Julie Arton, that's Notra backwards!

As a child, my family would often go on road trips and go camping.  As a young adult, I caught the travel bug right after the turn of the century.  I went on my first flight ever - a solo adventure to Alaska!  Soon after, I made it one of my life goals to visit all 50 states before I turn 50 years old and explore all 7 continents before I turn 70 years old!  I'll turn 50 next year and have already traveled to 49 states. When I say traveled, I mean I've actually stopped and done something in each state - not just flown through their airport or taken a picture of the roadside sign.  I'll be marking my last state of North Dakota off the bucket list this year. I've already been to four continents and looking forward to a big trip to Antarctica to mark it off the list soon. 

My travels have been from one extreme to the other.  I've been on an extremely budget friendly solo road trip across the country alone and sleeping in a van, parked on the side of the road at a rest stop and eating peanut butter sandwiches.  I've also been on ultra-luxurious, once-in-a-lifetime international trips at five star resorts on a remote island.  Honestly, both have been equally enjoyable for me.  I'm always up for an adventure..or down for a lazy, relaxing resort stay.
